Adding value to individuals and healthcare organizations
Bridging gaps in healthcare delivery for
healthcare organizations and patients
It has been estimated that preventable medical errors in the United States result in 250,000 to 400,000 deaths each year. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that 1 in every 10 patients experiences some form of harm during hospital care. In total, WHO estimates that over 40 million injuries occur each year globally due to unsafe medical practices, with most of these incidents being preventable. These figures underline the ongoing need for improved safety measures, training, and system-level changes to reduce harm from medical errors and enhance patient care outcomes.
Motivated by a sincere commitment to improving the quality of care delivery and reducing harm in the clinical environment, Dr. Tiffany Thompson works closely with her clients to ensure they have effective policies, procedures, systems, and leaders in place to mitigate medical errors in a safe, healthy environment where patients, clinicians, and staff thrive.
